It features a main temple surrounded by numerous smaller temples, stupas, and chapels.

The main temple, known as Avarga Baruun Shar, is the centerpiece of the monastery complex. It houses a large statue of Buddha Shakyamuni and numerous religious artifacts, murals, and scriptures. The gates are adorned with colorful paintings and carvings depicting Buddhist deities and symbols.
The monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is recognized for its historical and cultural significance. It represents the fusion of Tibetan and Mongolian architectural and artistic traditions, reflecting the shared religious and cultural heritage of the two regions.
