Discover mystical deer stones from the Bronze Age and travel back in time. Uushgiin Uvur is situated in the northern part of Mongolia, specifically in the Khuvsgul Province, near the eastern shore of Lake Khuvsgul. It is fascinating and interesting to see a complex of 30 deer stones and bid Khirgisuurs /altar for sacrifice/ and slab burials. In terms of statue number, skillful works, and illustrations this complex site is a great representation of this culture. Especially statues with images of human face draw the attention of many scientists and are considered one of the rarest statues.
The Deer Stones at Uushgiin Uvur stand as testament to Mongolia's rich archaeological legacy and the ingenuity of its ancient nomadic cultures.
