The Shishged River, a river in northern Mongolia and in Tuva. The Shishged River basin is geographically located between the Khoridol Saridag Range, the Ulaan Taiga Mountains, and the Bayan Range. The relatively flat area in the central part of the basin is known as the "Darkhad Blue Hollow." It is part of the Yenisei’s drainage basin, and the headwaters of the so-called Little Yenusei. It flows through the Darkhad Valley in northwestern Khuvsgul province, Mongolia and then westwards through the Ulaan Taiga Mountain range to Russia. There it is joined by the Busein River and Bilin River to form the Khyzyl-Khem. Of its 344 km length, 298 are in Mongolia. A bridge has been erected near Renchinlkhumbe soum, Khuvsgul province.
