Devel Island

Devel Island is situated in the basin of the Achit Lake in Uvs aimag, encompasses the Usan River valley, the middle reaches of the Khovd River.The Devel River valley is characterized by its grasslands, inhabited by various wild animals, including deer, wolves, and foxes. Tourists from both domestic and international locations visit Devel Island to photograph pheasants. Devel Island is one of the areas with the highest concentration of pheasants in Mongolia and is a natural complex area.
