Turgen Mountain

Türgen Mountain is located about 40 km southwest of Ulaangom city. The peak of the mountain is elevated 3965 m above sea level. Turgen and Kharkhiraa mountains, which compose the Kharkhiraa valley, are both parts of the Turgen Uul Nature Reserve. 
The mountain valley and the high plateaus between glaciers above 4000m offer an impressive adventure for visitors. The area is most untouched area and habitat of rare animals such as ibex, argali sheep and snow leopard. Altitude 2500-4000m above sea level. One of the best place for trekking, horse trek, camel expeditions, mountaineering and photography.
